Herb Cummings - President
Herb has 40+ years of experience with hospitality construction projects. Previously, Herb served as Vice President of Construction, RFS Hotel Investors, Inc., in Memphis, TN where he was responsible for renovation and capital spending for 63 full and select service hotels. From 1998 to 2000, Herb served as VP of Construction with Bristol Hotels & Resorts in Dallas TX where he was responsible for 119 Hotels with annual budgets of 150MM. Prior to Bristol, Herb served for 3 years with Davidson Hotels and was responsible for project management and capital spending for 12 hotels. Prior to Davidson, Herb worked with United Inns for 18 years.
Hank Cummings - VP
Hank has 13 years of experience consulting for hospitality development and construction projects. He has managed over 125 hotel construction projects with budgets exceeding $250 Million. Hank previously worked at Fedex for 10 years as a project manager for information technology.
▪ Hyatt Monterey CA
o Approximately $30 million renovation of a full service Hyatt hotel. This project included the complete renovation of all guestrooms, public areas, restaurant, bar/lounge, kitchen, meeting space and site work. Cummings performed Project Management and Owner Representative services for Fairwood Capital.
▪ Hilton Nashville TN Airport
o Approximately $20 million renovation and conversion from a Holiday Inn to a full service Hilton. Cummings was the owner’s representative and project manager for the project. Our role included managing the design team, contractors, FF&E suppliers, purchasing agents, and acted as a liaison for ownership with Hilton.
▪ Residence Inn by Marriott Langhorne PA
o Approximately $3 million renovation including the complete renovation of all guestrooms, public areas, restaurants, and meeting space. Cummings performed Project Manager Services for MCR Development. Our role included managing the design team, contractors, FF&E suppliers, purchasing agents, and acted as a liaison for ownership with Marriott.
▪ Hampton Inn Pittsburgh Downtown
o Approximately $5 million renovation including the complete renovation of all guestrooms, public areas, breakfast, meeting space and back of house. Cummings performed Project Manager Services for The Buncher Company. Our role included managing the design team, contractors, FF&E suppliers, purchasing agents, and acted as a liaison for ownership with the operating hotel.
